I agree with you regarding the conservative way Coetzee coaches, and that is not the way to take SA rugby forward. However even with that less than expansive way of playing the game, the Stormers were a solid team and ended top of the SA log a few years running. So really, they should do better, not beat the All Blacks mind you, but not lose like this.

Although I am not a fan of the play Coetzee couches, in my opinion he is a solid and steady hand and I thought he would get the right talent around him and give some much needed stability after Heyneke Meyer's wobbly last 2 seasons. Now however it seems he is even more at sea than his predecessor. He chops and changes his team (when last was the midfield settled), has players in wrong the positions etc etc.

He also has some dubious coaching and support talent around him (not his fault admittedly) but you cant face the All Blacks with coaching novices like Mzwandile Stick tasked with making the backline competitive)

Honestly, we need a whole new coaching team, all at the top of their game and as head coach we either need to get in a foreign coach or Johan Ackermann, the only SA coach who has proved that he can make a top modern style playing team out of SA players.
