When the EU says we can't use copyrighted images in memes.

Hi, thanks for letting me know your thoughts. Nothing is inherently evil; what I am trying to point out is that systems with certain characteristics are always going to trend in a specific way. This is an observable fact of reality, and people and the things we build are not free from that reality. As long as we give a monetary value to every blade of grass, every plot of land, and every idea, money is always going to be the primary control mechanism in our soeciety, hence those with the most money are always going to have primary control.

Personally, I think it's naive to believe that politicians are just going to come along and stop letting themselves be influenced by money. The main values of our society are built by our economics, as long as our economics rewards and induces selfish competition, then that is the way people are primary going to behave. I appreciate that you think a global economy without money is naive, It's something most people have never thought about, but it's far more possible than you might realise, in fact very similar things already exist today.

Have you ever analysed a global corporation recently? When you get rid of the profit motives, the cost efficiencies, and the corporate hierarchy, what are you left with? You're left with a very effective, internal, market-less economy. These corporations do not rely on markets to manage and control their internal resources, they realise the huge inefficiencies that would result, they realise that it's far more efficient for them (cost and profit efficiency) to build a centrally planned economic system. A good modern example of this are the plans from BHP to implement a coin-less blockchain technology to manage all of their internal distribution networks..
