It would seem that both whites and middle easterners are overachieving. Yet the talk is about wanting more white people and keeping out Mexicans who are really underrepresented here.

I said I don't like the talking point based on the underlying arithmetic. I didn't say what my feelings are about immigration. The talking point just really bugs me.

I actually don't support the Muslim ban or just about anything else that the Trump administration is up to. I certainly don't want that wall built and see no reason for singling out Mexicans for such animosity. We are fortunate to have neighbors like Mexico and Canada who are important trading partners as opposed to military adversaries.
