I try to be conscientious of where me and my belongings are in relation to other people’s personal space. I don’t use my cell phone on speaker phone in public. When listing to music I make sure to use headphones that don’t bleed sound out to others who may be sitting near me. I cover my mouth when I sneeze and cough. I try to speak at reasonable volumes so that only the people I am conversing with hear me, as to not disturb others. I pick up my dogs poop when we go for walks, I don’t microwave fish at the office for lunch. I try to maintain good personal hygiene so I don’t smell bad. I have never peed in the corner of an NYC subway car. I try to help and give directions when randomly asked in public if I know where something is. I try to hold doors open for people when entering/exiting a building. If someone holds a door open for me I do my best to make sure I thank them.
