Women over 50 see sexual harassment very differently than millennials

I worked at intel and microsoft as a contractor.

The rule was do not speak to any employee, especially females.

Another company i worked for almost lost a million dollar contract because i asked a girl out who i thought was flirting with me (coming to my area just to talk to me often) she said "yes" btw. (Never went on the date. I quit and moved across state the very next day mid shift. She caused drama not knowing that quiting and moving hundreds of miles for no real reason is standard for me)

I learned my lesson. Dont talk to women at work. Do not be friendly to them. There is nothing i can gain from interacting with them or even responding in a friendly manner, over what i can lose.

Id honestly much rather not work around women at all. Id rather work with people i can say hello too, smile and be friendly with. Id rather avoid conflict and i like to enjoy my time at work.

But thats just my limited experience. Most places i work at have very few females on site.

Now, im sure my experiemce isnt very unique. Now explain why some companies might be hesitant on hiring women.
