Women of reddit who were "good girls" in your teens, how did it change in your twenties? Did you suddenly become wild?

I feel this depends entirely on your definition of "good," tbh.

Like, on the one hand, I was observably a hugely successful, responsible teenager: I got great grades, I never drank or did drugs or smoked, I never got detention, I was always polite and pleasant to my teachers and classmates and parents and parents' friends and friends' parents, I was in my church choir...

On the other hand, I was also in some ways the problem child compared to my sister (a precious perfect angel who I love dearly) even though she being more artsy and less academic struggled more in school - I often did my homework at the last minute or occasionally never, I was always running around barefoot and muddy and sleep-deprived and covered in mysterious bruises like some kind of swamp witch, I manifested a sex drive around 15 and went through several varyingly terrible older boyfriends, I created a bunch of paperwork for my mom when I was 17 by getting into a fight with my stepmom and refusing to go back to my dad's house even though he had primary custody at the time, I crashed two cars...

My point is that depending on what angle you look from, me at 13-19 could be described as either a parent's fondest wish or a complete flaming disaster. I did not suddenly get any wilder in my 20s, though. I do drink now but, like, a normal adult amount.
