Women who say they’re into women, but won’t eat pussy.

I’m a bisexual male and have some mirrored kind of experiences people have expressed in this thread, but with bisexual men.

I genuinely feel like a lot of people muddy the waters of even defining their sexuality under terms they may not actually identify as. Certain designations do in fact mean a baseline of certain things or characteristics pertaining to those particular designations. I have encountered soooo many men who identify as ‘bi or bi-curious’ who want nothing to do with the genitalia of the same sex or even sexual touch from the same sex. It’s extremely confusing to self identify and literally do none of the things that match the definition of bisexual especially within the context of ‘swinging’. I’m not saying there’s a one size fits all (obv people don’t do certain things/have preferences etc and it should ALL be respected) but I can’t help but feel that some people are self identifying as somewhere under the queer umbrella as a form of skewed allyship or adopting an ‘otherness’ that seems hip or as a form of enticement. It sucks because the people who are genuinely bi-curious and want to explore that side of them get lost in the shuffle because of this type of thing. In reality, it only makes things extremely confusing for all parties involved. It’s okay to be gay! It’s okay to be bisexual! It’s okay to be straight! At the end of the day all of these designations are human inventions necessitated by a world demanding boxes, but if you choose to take part in a self designation, you should at least have at least one characteristic of the ‘box’ you choose to identify with or what’s the point of a self designation in the first place?
