From what I can see out of other sources, the death toll from American conflicts is closer to the 400,000-600,000 range, but almost 500,000 people died in Syria since 2011, and the USA has been involved there since 2014, so I figured it would be better to just round the whole number to 1,000,000 since the math is easier and the number is generous.

I'd rather understate the cost per death, so if someone fact checks me on the number of casualties, they only drive up the cost per dead and further make my point that this is some baby-back-bullshit.
