[WP] You are a real estate agent that lives and works in Sim City. Describe your typical day/week/month.

In this business it pays to update your maps.

An example: I stopped by the planning office today and found out that the entire downtown had been rezoned residential. Sure enough, I got out there and where there had once been a string of high rise offices there was now a sea of green, and in the distance a single foundation for a high rise apartment. Well damn. I watch the foundation finish and the first girders go up and I'm already on the phone with my construction buddies to be tapped to close these sales. I have 10 new deals on condos in the works when a police station gets dropped on the foundation and I have to shunt them into the next one over which is just in range of the elementary school, assuming it stays at current funding levels. It won't.

A guy I just moved into a shack at the edge of town calls me. "I think the wind turbines are giving me headaches."

"Gary, you live next to a coal plant, an oil plant, a gas plant, and a microwave satellite receiver that's created a fiery beam of death 3 times this month and you think the wind turbine is giving you headaches? The good news is I practically had to pay you to take it, the bad news is you'll get the same deal! Try it for another month." By next month power consumption will be up so much a fusion plant will replace half of them anyway.

On my drive back from the construction site I'm listening to the news ticker. The llama festival is on this week, local businesses getting rid of excess shoes with tap dancing show, and the mayor is...lowering the transportation budget? Shit!

I swerve my car as the road in front of me turns to dirt. Just great. Well hopefully that'll get resolved quickly. I leave the car and cross the dirt to get a cab. I call my husband and tell him I'm going to be late to dinner. I've got to get back to the planning office and figure out where to put my new office.
