I walked up the steps of building as all sorts of creatures slithering and floating and flying past me. I was chosen by the world council to attend The Intergalactic University just beyond the outer rim of the Galaxy. Today was the first day of classes, I had enrolled in a variety of classes; Interstellar Travel 345, Planetary Bio Chemistry 222, Colonising a Planet 101, and Dark Matter physics. My counselor suggested I take an easy class to ease myself into this strange university to I added Human Studies to my list of classes. Obviously being human this would be a breeze. As I came into the lecture all the class was all talking at once, it was buzz of excitement that ran through the Air. Humans were the most recent species to be added to the Intergalactic data base and half the universe was enthralled with our planet. I found a place in the middle of the lecture hall sitting next to a Cordathian and Mendurian. As i sat down the crowd went silent and all eyes were on me. I just smiled and nodded my head as whispers went through the crowd. The door on the side of the lecture hall opened and out walked and extremely tall creature Humanoid in nature but very pale blue skin. “Please, may I have silence” He spoke in a booming deep voice and the crowd fell silent “Thank you, I am Professor Kee OSira and this is human studies 101. Throughout the semester we will be studying the fascinating culture that is Homosapien.” As he continued talking to the class he scanned the room and his eyes caught mine. “Well! Mr. Foxx, I was unaware you would be taking my class!” He said jubilantly I sunk in my chair and gave a half wave “Please, come up and introduce yourself!” I sighed and awkwardly made my way to the front. All sorts of eyes were on me as I stood there next to the professor “This is Mr. Albert Foxx, The first human to attend our great university, notice the slightly browned skin. This is called a ‘Tan’ humans will sit outside housing units slightly burn their skin and make it darker, this is seen as attractive on their planet” as he continued describing my features I was dying inside, I had never been more embarrassed.

  “Mr. Foxx if it would be ok with you, would you mind showing the class your reproductive organs” He blurted out 

 “Excuse me?” I blurted out “on earth it’s not very customary to show that off to everyone” 

 “Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry I did not wish to offend, Please if there anything you wish to tell the class before we continue.” I thought for a moment and looked upon the divers class as many of the races in here weren't to thrilled to have the humans brought into the database.

  “Well, since you are all here in Human Studies, you must have an interest in my species. I know many of you think  that Humans are nothing but war mongering barbarians, but we are a young race and though we may have had our problems in the past I assure you they are behind us. Earth has gone 300 years without a war between nations. International peace has been a priority of Humans for a very long time. We are honored to be considered an intelligent enough species to be apart of the Intergalactic database, I am truly humbled to be able to stand here in your presence and represent my species. If anyone has any questions after class I’m free around the 3rd rotation.”  The room was silent but there was a strange acceptance to it.

    “Thank you Mr Foxx you may return to your seat. Now let’s start off with something fun, Earth Folk Heroes and we will start with a man named Kanye West, a man that declared No one man should have all the power” This was gonna be a long semester.
