Why is your ex an ex?

She never followed through when the task at hand took any sort of effort.

She wanted to work in a particular field, but refused to apply for jobs that were related to the field. Since she wasn't working, I asked her to clean our place of living once a month and that lasted a few months.

I always initiated for sex. When I brought up wanting her to initiate more, she always nodded her head and stopped trying after the next time we had sex. Then after a few frustrating weeks, she'd say that we both needed to try harder. And the cycle continued. I found out later that she didn't really care whether we had sex or not, even if she enjoyed it. But what can you do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

She cooked dinner, but hated doing the dishes. We had decided that she cooks dinner for the both of us and I'd do the dishes. However, it was tough for me to see dishes in the sink knowing she'd sit at home doing absolutely fuck-all every day. When I brought it up one day while I was working from home, she said that I wasn't doing anything and it was my responsibility (I had finished all of my work early pretty consistently).

The worst part is I firmly believe she's narcissistic and will never realize her own flaws, since I don't think she ever saw herself as anything but perfect. It's sad, really.
