This is a slippery slope, in my opinion. How do create a standard for being well-informed enough to make democratic decisions?

Being subject to propaganda isn't fun, and it may be undemocratic, but there's a very slippery slope to be careful of. It's not far from there to denying the opinions and votes of people who watch news channels we don't like, who rely on Whatsapp group messages for news and it mostly comes from their old, racist grandma.

It's not our place to put any condition on voting aside from citizenship and age of majority. None. Anything else is a betrayal of the democratic ideals we claim to hold. Or at least I claim to hold them.
