6’0 tall 28 (f) never had a boyfriend

I’m 5’11” and used to think I had issues with dating because of my height. Turns out it was because I wasn’t smiling enough at people, as goofy as it sounds!

I’ve dated guys much, much shorter than I am as well as guys taller than I am. Some people are intimidated in one way or the other, but that’s why I smile more now. When I was single I tended to be the one to make the first step by making eye contact and smiling at someone who seems nice (multiple times so they know it isn’t an accident), or even doing silly things like waving or motioning for him to come over and talk/dance with me depending on the environment.

It takes a little practice letting any rejection roll off your back, but I made a lot of friends and met my boyfriend that way, so I definitely think it’s one option. On the plus side, being friendly attracts friendly people!
