81 killed in bloody Boko Haram attack in Nigerian village

The issue here that I think people are bringing up is that no one seems to be weighing the difference between thousands getting raped and slaughtered by Boko Haram. Even stateside no one cares about the thousands gunned down by black-on-black crime.

It's not as if they are sorta weighing the difference and making a judgement on which receives priority. It's absolutely that no one cares about the other one. Both police brutality and citizen-on-citizen murder are huge issues we can all agree. But why the radio silence on one (which is objectively worse statistically) and why does the other get 100% of the attention?

Lastly, I don't downvote opinions I disagree with. It makes things toxic on this site. If you were downvoted, I don't know who did it, but it shouldnt have happened. Your comment definitely adds to the discussion.
