Afghanistan deserves their fate

I'm just gonna copy and paste a response I wrote a day or 2 ago. I can't.

I've seen at least 20 posts about Afghanistan in my feed within 5 minutes of scrolling. I am only 14 and my parents immigrated from Kabul to Canada where I've lived my whole life. They always tell me stories about their parents, their life, their house, their neighbors, and their community. My mom has always wanted to go back for a trip to show me and my siblings around the neighborhood in Kabul where they grew up. My grandpa died 2 years ago so my mom has always wanted to go back to our property in Kabul. A beautiful house with a big garden. At least that's what my mom describes it as. I doubt it is ours anymore after this. My mom has been crying every night since the news hit that the Taliban was taking over Afghanistan. We are going to my grandmas house tomorrow and I think my mom is going to tell her the news. Usually I don't get sad over jokes on the internet but all these memes about it really brings me down. And knowing that more then half of my family lives in Afghanistan, most of them living in Kabul is terrifying for me.
