AITA FOR REFUSING TO WEAR A SKIRT?

Oh, f*** off. If this were me, I would have covered my head and dressed modestly. But I would absolutely not have worn some outfit they were going to give me. If you turn this around and someone did show up at my formal wedding in jeans and a t-shirt I would absolutely not ask them to change because that would be the rudest thing ever. It's one thing to adhere to cultural norms, it's another to give up all of your values in order to do so. And it's not an ignorant American thing. We have immigrants here they're allowed to dress how they want. It's one thing to sit there and sing to yourself this person is so rude I will never invite them back to my home. And another thing to kick someone out of your house. That is absolutely ass backwards and I can't believe someone did that.
