NTA. They live only an hour away and can't manage to see each other ? That's just stupid , i know a lot of people who drive an hour just for work everyday. An hour is nothing. It's not your fault what happenend to your uncle , you should be able to be there if there is an family related issue , no matter how complicated your family might be. You have a child and all that and he can't be with you in this time? Why even have a Partner then? I totally understand you. The Trip was planend, yes , but the health of a close family member is always more important. It's not your fault that he and his Friends can't reschedule it. What kind of friends do this ? Go visit your uncle.
