Am I (46f) sabotaging myself by having a dealbreaker of not dating men with children under 13.

Well, shit. I think this just solved the mystery of the OLD ghost.

I'm still very new to it, and this was my first ghosting. I confess it was quite jarring when an otherwise decent conversation just suddenly died. I had assumed she got a better offer, which I'd be fine with too, right? (I mean, we weren't yet anyone to each other.)

But I'm now realizing the last thing I mentioned was my kids's ages (under 10). So, yeah, if this is a common dealbreaker, I like this version. (It's less ego-deflating.)

Anyway, I know I'm late to the party but just wanted to say thanks and to add my two cents that, while maybe it could've worked, I think it really depends on the individual cases. And making this a dealbreaker should be totally understandable to anyone.
