Among the dead-enders in Bernieworld, Sanders is still the next president and Clinton is a fate worse than Trump.

Wrong, but no downvote here.

Trade - well, black kids over on the east side of Detroit have no jobs available unless it's for a multinational that'll pay them $7-and-change to start, maybe 10 to hit some kind of manager position, 12 to top out, and it's got a whole bit of commonality with every other shitty retail position in the area.

Not much upward mobility. Hell, Dad found a better but shitty-low-energy/money/whatever job a decade and a half ago...those businesses are gone.

China. China. Chyyyyna.

So, yeah, I think they're in agreement that prolific jobs and living wages as a result will lift all the boats, as it were.

Corruption - Trump's admitted to millions of people on TV that he's provided "donations" to politicians to get favorable treatment, has been disgusted about it since I was born, and in 30~ years, nothing's changed.

Military. Why are we defending all these countries from each other?

Is the peace so tenuous it needs a plantation master in the USA, or if we leave, will they settle the fuck down because starting wars will be mutually apocalyptic without our help?

College: That's kinda easy. "Let us know when your cost to operate better matches your apparent need for income." - and ask any goddamned post-grad or whatever who's teaching a class for peanuts.

People running these places are in as much political appointments as anyone else. They're less accountable, less efficient, and if anyone screws the help, it's college administrators.

My forebears never paid the kinda prices kids are expected to in order to hear someone smart talk and pick up a fucking McGraw-Hill textbook that they paid $400 for.

So - shittily explained, I think I have to disagree. And if Bernie can't run a campaign - how the hell is he supposed to run our country?!

He dumps his financials and tax shit on his wife. He's never been particularly good at balancing a checkbook. He's supposed to decide overarching trade and legislative issues? C'mon!

I'm not a genius there, myself...I don't run for fuckin' President and hope I figure it out!

Whatever. You believe what you want, I'll believe what I want, and in the end...we're still Americans. I'll support you if you support me, whoever ends up in office.
