Sure, you can make the argument that Nazis deserve a platform. In that case, I imagine your argument would be rooted in the free market place of ideas, the principle that every idea, no matter how wrong or potentially harmful, deserves to be heard.

So why is it just Nazis? Why does this argument only ever come up when it's Nazis? There are plenty of viewpoints more marginalized in our country today than white nationalism. Are you fighting for the 9/11 truthers, the anti-vaxxers, the fundamentalist Muslims, the TERFs, the pizza gaters, the Qanon followers? Do you worry about the free speech of communists, socialists, anarchists, and other minority groups on the left?

Because if you don't, then this is just reactionary pearl-clutching.
