Apple is a really shitty company

One thing I'm noticing is how much the phones slow down after each update. The other day my Mom asked me too look at her phone since it's been bogging down even more after the last update. There's no denying probably half the people buying the newest releases as soon as they come out are doing it as a status symbol thing. To show off or just be seen with the newest best phone. I tend to use the same phone for a good while and like phones like the LG V20 that have a remove able back so you can swap out the battery and easily access the SD card. I like having removable storage because it's really handy to use them for anything from easily transferring files & pics or using them for working on peoples computers by loading being able to download and transfer programs over or any other multitude of things.

I do like their products in a lot of ways but there's no way I'm going to pay $1200 for a device that's only marginally better than the previous one from just months before. In an actual real world scenario you're not going to be any more or less productive with a device a few years old. If you pick up the newest Samsung Note phone you can't say it's not an incredible device. These people that think anything with an Android OS is automatically for poor people or idiots is really frustrating and brings it back to people having silly bias or wanting to just be seen as having the best new shiny thing. There's posts on reddit of videos where kids will literally start fist fights because on of them says the other is a piece of shit for having a few generation old phone. WTF. This toxic attitude often carries over into adulthood. This kind of vanity is really damaging IMO and people are putting more weight on having the "best" material goods more than ever. They will actually think someone isn't worth their time or beneath them for having an older phone. That's so fucked up. Regardless all of these newest top of the line phones are way too delicate and having to worry about shattering the back of your phone after it falls out of your pocket when you sit down is just silly. I also don't want to have to use an adapter to use headphones. That's just silly.

There's no denying that the newest iPhone looks really sleek, feels great in your hand and is overall an amazing device but it's absolutely not worth the crazy price mark. I always disagree with people who fan boy over one company and write off all others regardless of the type of product. That goes for tech, cars, services or whatever. That's the fucking point of a free market. Having choices and why would you want to limit yourself to one lane?
