They aren’t in it for ‘free stuff': What critics get wrong about millennial Bernie Sanders supporters -- Sanders' policies aren't about giving stuff away for free, they're about keeping up with an evolving world economy

Your argument is flawed in that it assumes that that top 0.01% person is making his money through "hard work". Let's be very clear, he isn't. At some point he probably was, but there comes a point after which the flood gates are opened, and he is wallowing in money simply by virtue of the fact that he already has money. If you are making billions of dollars a year personally, your tax rate should be astronomical, as in 99%, simply because at that point you have become far more of a drain on society than every welfare recipient in the country. That money doesn't end up back in the economy. It is sat on. Manipulated. It makes him and other like him even richer, while denying you and I and the other 99% of the country access to the new wealth. This is thr problem. Your selfish aspirations aren't even capable of understanding that absolutel motherfucking VAST sums of money these people effective steal from the rest of society. It is literally rotting our country out from the inside.

I believe that you mean well. And I believe that all of your ideas are good ones on a middle class scale. But you are either ignoring or incapable of understanding the many orders of magnitude difference between your idea of rich, and the actual rich that are destroying this country and planet.
