Atheists who grew up religious, what made you stop believing?

It was a little wild opinion.. But when I was younger I felt like religion was made by the fallen angel because he wanted to split people, make conflicts, and see how the higher power takes advantage of the people and how greedy they can get. I could never believe that a great God could make people act like they do, how they lie, judge others. I believed that religion, money, and power was the fallen angel way of making the world collapse.

But then i got older, came out of the closet, got banned from my father. Because it’s obviously more important to fall in love with the opposite gender, then to actually fall in love with an other human being. U like what u like, u can’t decide who u will fall in love with. So I moved away and never looked back
