Australians fricken love gambling apparently.

I occasionally enjoy putting a bet on the horses if I go to the pub (like 1-2 times a year).

I enjoy blackjack at the casino.

I DESPISE gambling ads on the radio, halfway through the football, it's disgraceful. I hate it.

If people WANT to gamble, enough people do it casually they need only ask a friend honestly. They need to introduce some legislation that bans/ severely cuts back these sort of advertisements. Smoking advertisements are banned - alcohol adverts are limited - it should share the same status as alcohol for advertising. Sure, adverts are allowed, but only a certain amount of air-time is allowed, and the content is very regulated.

The entire point of these adverts is to pray on the weak (those with addictions/ recovering from addictions). Those are the only ones it really appeals to.
