a) Both parties requested and received favors from Twitter, presumably to attempt to sway public opinion.

b) The DNC may be a bunch of assholes, but they're a private org. collaborating with another private org. to regulate privately managed content, which is entirely legal. The "Trump White House" is our government and is Constitutionally prohibited from attempting to censor private entities.
