Boris Johnson has cancelled his planned trip to the White House after Trump slammed the phone down on him in a moment of 'apoplectic' fury

That's not what we were talking about.

What I'm asking is: What changed to make people's (good) value of "standing up for Americans" somehow include denying the (legal and reasonable) request of a strongest ally, protecting criminals, and denying a family justice for the death of their child?

I'm trying to understand a value-shift that's happened. AGAIN- I know the "justifications" for the new values, I don't need you to repeat them to me.

What I want to know is WHAT HAPPENED to create these new values, because, again; they weren't always here.

*I'd be happy to talk with you about what you said, truly. But it has no bearing on my question.
