At this point unless every major and medium sized country in the world unites to economically blockade China then nothing is going to change. And that is never going to happen because China has been bringing Afirca, parts of Asia/Middle East and South America into it's sphere of influence who will block any such move.

The only option then is a war which no one is prepared for bar America because the West has been gutting their militaries since the end of the cold war.

And of course that's not even bringing up nuclear weapons. It's the same deal with North Korea. They've been able to resist sanctions and now they have nuclear weapons which makes them militarily untouchable.
