Christian mom sentenced to hang for 'insulting Islam' in Pakistan may face final hearing

As Christians are enjoined to "rejoice" and to take "pure joy" in suffering for their belief, I wonder why they are such crybabies about it. Please see James 1:2-4 or James 1:12. If that don't do it for you how about 1 Peter 2:20, 1 Peter 5:10, Romans 5:3-4 or any other of nearly two dozen instances where this is clearly stated. My personal favorite is Philippians 1:29. It simply does not get ANY clearer than "For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him." So, why the ocean of tears from people who are supposed to be glad to be persecuted?
