I'd like to start off by saying I appreciate how sensitive a topic this is and that it can be upsetting for some. I apologise in advance if this post causes some upset, it's not my intention at all.

So I'll give you some context first. I'm a 20 year old cis man, and have met a trans person through a mutual friend. The way this mutual friend is going on about it, it would seem that there is certainly a chance of things getting steamy the next time we meet.

I'm bisexual and have had sex with both cis men and women in the past, but never a trans person. This person in question is assigned female but came out as trans a few months ago and uses they/them pronouns. They haven't had any surgeries or hormone treatment yet as far as I'm aware.

So the thing is, if we do get down to it, I'm not clear at all as to how it should work. Should I be trying to avoid their genitals and breasts best I can? Should I be trying to treat them as I would treat a boy? girl? Should I ask them?

I really have no idea what to do if I'm honest and if anyone could give me some advice at all on what to do or where else to go with this question I would really appreciate it.
