Confused- accused of ghosting after not texting for 2 days?

I'm an investment principal at VC fund managing the team, prior to than investment banker with 100+ hours a week in the office. It's my free day sick in the bed and I'm hooked on reddit and wasting my time here - this is the person with responsibilites at work. I mean, we all do have those free hours, isn't it? It's just how we prioritise those free hours. I get that you don't prioritise that person and don't bother sending her any notice that you'll disappear for couple of days - she's not that interesting to you as you have already said in your comments and definitely not that important to you as your boss is.

Also, would you do this to a woman you're completely excited about and a bit afraid of losing her because of miscommunication that can arise? This woman is just not that cool in your eyes and you don't bother to apologise or to explain anything to her.

As a person who manages 40+ ppl in my team plus operations and finances of companies that we invest in, I'm a busy one, too. But I always give advance notices: 1) when I'm late - to anyone, incl the waiter holding my table, dog sitter, mom, dates, taxi drivers, anybody 2) to guys I'm dating if I'll get ultra busy and unavailable due to work load, travel or sickness so that they don't feel ignored and ghosted.

It's not about having time and not having time, it's about whether you care or don't care. You care about your job and what your boss thinks, you don't care what that woman feels and thinks. Simple.
