Critics say they're in for long haul against $15 billion Houston-to-Dallas bullet train

1) I read the rest of the charlotte observer, it stated that the Californian rail was stopped by protesters. Actually the builder went bankrupt and California had to step in after they went bankrupt and the cost of the rail line went through the roof. I guess they didn't want to mention that because it shows that this rail most likely will run over budget and they will most likely go bankrupt.

2) there is no concrete cost figures, all the high speed rail builders have said is the cost will be comparable to the cost of driving on the low end to a plane ticket on the high end. But they don't state how they came to this figure. Its not just fuel cost for cars they figure in wear and tear on your vehicle but yet never stated how they figure wear and tear to come up with their low end price. Like wise plane tickets are not all the same you can get some cheap or some super expensive. No one truly knows all we can do is go by is what we can figure based off what the high speed rail builders are saying. based off what they say it can be as much as $400 one way and as little as $200 one way. People assume it will be round trip pricing but no where has the builders said ticket pricing would be round trip.

3) the analysis is the hearing done here in Texas between the state and the builders, all of what I quoted is from the numerous pages from this inquiry.

4) I can find them I don't have time to find them by pouring through literally thousands of pages of inquiry records for more evidence.

5) I don't even know how to post photos on here in the first place this is only my second day on reddit. Secondly this was on their fb page back around 2016. I am not going that far back to locate where the discussion was just to screen shot it and then have you dismiss it.

First off no one knows what the price is, that's why its funny that you are citing $200 to $400 round trip even though no one knows what the price is not even the builders of this rail. Now me making up the $400 - $800 number that is not made up, if you can locate the discussion on their fb page you will see it was a collaboration of numerous people figuring the cost out different ways based off their vague description of how much the cost would be for a ticket. Some have figured quite low some have figured quite high, the $400 - $800 is a figure on round trip based off a $200 - $400 one way ticket. There is no way you would have the ticket cost this low round trip.

As far as taking me seriously, no if no one was taking me seriously they would A) not reply to me which is what you are doing which means you are taking me seriously and B) they wouldn't be bothered to down rate something they think is not serious.

Your mind is made up so why don't you just stop. You will never agree with me and that's fine so just stop while you are ahead cause there is zero reason to keep this dog and pony show bullshit going on.
