CrossFit vs IronTribe vs regular gym?

No worries. One month ago, I was all excuses. I've finally realized that the only way to being completely healthy and happy is to be active every day or on most days.

My gut tells me that crossfit may not be for me either. Iron Tribe seemed to be a little bit lighter, I'm going to go in tomorrow and try it out to be sure.

Goals - I want to lose the gut (half diet, half lack of exercise) and build 10+ lbs of muscle.

Injuries is what made me feel 50/50 on crossfit. I think the best way to start based on all the responses is to join a basic gym, follow a basic routine, and ask for help when I see someone at where I want to be. Ask here for any major questions after doing this for a few weeks and months. If I feel the need to upgrade to IT in the summer, I can. If not, stay with the regular gym.
