I know this sounds stupid in terms of enjoyment...but how feasible is it to live completely off of a mass gainer/meal replacement powder like Optimum Pro Gainer.

I'm going on a big cut after a 2 year bulk (5'11, 190 12% - 240 25%)...I'm going from eating pounds of meat and brown rice, whole pizzas, and whatever else I want in a day, to basically just grilled chicken and vegetables (Keto). I'm already down to 226 in a week (mostly water).

But I want to try out vegetarian, for the reason that It's about the only diet I haven't seriously tried...and so outside of eggs, I'm obviously going to be relying on powder like the above, which I have never really done and just ate 2-3 pounds of meat a day.

Is the bio-availability of protein powder the same as real food? I know Rich is always yelling about real food being the only route.

I guess my question is, outside of enjoyment, is having that powder the same as taking in 600 calories and 60g protein of meat? Or are you losing something in only drinking your protein?
