Alright so I wanted to at least ask this and see what y'all think about it. Kendrick drops Humble (fire af btw) and the reaction is by and large well praised. Highlights are the cinematography, the production, the lyrics as usual, and so on. A lot of people appreciated his part for the women, bout being natural and stretch marked asses etc.

So I go on Twitter and I see a minority, but still a group of people legitimately complaining about Kendrick and that part, claiming it's him being misogynistic and "bringing black people down".. how he used a light-skinned woman for the "natural beauty" part, that she has good skin (because women can't ever have good skin without makeup apparently?), & "exotic" hair, which imo is stupid. No one looks at that and thinks exotic. And then they complained about the dark-skinned woman with the stretch marks, and that he decided not to show her face and natural beauty but only her ass. But stretch marks are natural beauty, no? IMO a very small minority are reading into the song waaaay too much but I wanted to see what y'all thought of this?
