I mean Feinstein withheld the Ford allegation when the FBI originally did the background check and waited until it was too late just because it was politically advantageous to create this political spectacle. Both sides aren't the same but in this case, both sides care more about winning political chess rather than actually getting answers or caring about sexual assault victims. All Feinstein had to do was alert the FBI when she originally got the letter and they could've conducted an investigation and redacted the information to keep Ford anonymous as she requested. The judiciary committee would've had this information sooner and someone else would've been chosen to replace Kavanaugh. Feinstein waited until the 11th hour until Kavanaugh was set in stone because making Republicans look bad and attempting to delay the nomination is more important to her than actually preventing an alleged sexual predator from serving in the lands highest court. This has never been about justice for Ford. It's about revenge for Garland. Trump will never reopen the investigation and now we will never get a fair attempt the find the truth of the allegation.
