If you were to combine 1995-2009 Gen Z definition with 1999-2013 Gen Z definition:

1995-1998 Zillennials: Being 7-21 when Trump got elected but not during COVID-19

1999-2001 Early Z: Coming of Age during the late 2010s in the Trump Era pre-COVID-19.

2002: Early/Core Z: Being in high school when COVID-19 started, yet was able to vote in the 2020 election.

2003-2005 Core Z: Entering high school during the Trump Era, being in high school before COVID-19 and after it started.

2006 Core/Late Z: Were in elementary school when Trump was elected, was in middle school when COVID-19 started, yet can be able to vote in 2024.

2007-2009 Late Z: Were in elementary school when Trump was elected, are in middle school during the 2020 election and new COVID-19 restrictions.

2010-2013 Zalphas: Being 7-21 during COVID-19 pandemic but not when Trump was elected.

There’s so many things that can influence a Generation. Pop Culture by far, but what about other things like a major weather event? Which class you think is the most interesting generationally? Do you guys agree that your first year of university/first year out of high school is your final year as a teen? For someone born in 2001, are their experiences and vibes more similar to people slightly older or younger than them (childhood, adolescence, current, etc.) A reminder why Pew chose their cutoff Why do you suppose Gen X wasn’t all that vocal growing up when it came to political activism? Do Millennials think we have no memories of the 2000s? What type of music do you guys listen to now, did it change during high school or after ? Do you think Gen Z will "grow up" or follow the current trend? Here's a generationology post on Strauss/Howe's forum from 2002. This guy born in 1978 gatekeeps people born in 1982 because "they can only remember the shitty 1985+ era which has more in common with today" while he can remember more of "the fun grassroots leftover 70s vibe" of 1983-1984. Why do some late 90s borns here act as if mid 90s borns are hard to relate to? Why do some late 90s borns here act as if mid 90s borns are hard to relate to? Why is “coming of age” always used when defining generations? It’s so arbitrary 2008 borns are more gatekept than people realize. Why do people care so much about the label 90s kid?
