Not only that, the billionaires and corporations have some poor people convinced that they (the billionaires) are the victims so the poor people need to stand up for them (the billionaires) and say no to increased minimum wage, health benefit requirements, higher taxes for the rich, etc. Then they got the middle class people convinced that the poor people are the enemy because they (the poor people) utilize government assistance programs like food stamps, section 8, medicare, etc when the only reason they have to utilize these programs is because they get paid low wages, their jobs don't include health insurance and they can't afford it themselves. Now millions of people vote against their own best interests because the billionaires and corporations conned the middle class into thinking poor people are the reason why their taxes are so high because THEY (the middle class) have to support these government aid programs. In a world where the government isn't corrupt, the ultra rich should be the ones handling the tax burden, not the middle class who are only one incident away from being poor themselves.
