My husband has a few siblings. His mom always likes to be the one to pay for the entire family’s bill when it comes. This can be pricey. Most of my husband’s siblings try to take the bill every now and then. We all went to eat at a local (pricey) restaurant fo some reason. There were 9 or so of us. The bill comes and we say we will pay for ours, my sister in law says she will pay for theirs, my other sister in law says she will pay with theirs, my other in-law looks at his mom and says, “umm Mom you’re still paying for mine, right?” It’s kind of laughable but more sad that a grown man ordered more than what he could personally afford and just assumed that his mother would treat.
