Elite: Dangerous Horizons announced

Not sure why this is getting down voted. It's fact, not opinion. Though maybe that's why it's getting down voted. Reddit is generally not a fan of honest statements, more a fan of ass kissing and smoke blowing.

It's not about being bitter that they introduced planetary landings before what would make them useful and engaging (the ability to walk around on ships, stations, planets, etc.) It's about the fact that we paid $60 (and more, for those who didn't already have good gear for it) for a very unfinished game, and before they even bother finishing it, they're already wanting to charge more money. A fuckload more money. Hell, not only did they not fix/finish the massive bin of things wrong with it, they went the extra mile and broke it worse than it was on release. And that's completely ignoring how badly they handicapped it in advance by supporting consoles.

Planetary landings are a good idea (once things that make it useful are implemented). I'd be glad to pay for it (and the features that would make it anything worth bothering with). But not until the fucking base game is fixed and offers well... Anything really. Until then it's simply buying an expansion for a lifeless game that allows you to land on lifeless worlds. Down vote away, I know the FD dick riders can't stand anything remotely true or honest with regards to ED, but it's a fact. It's not really debatable.

If you can say the game is complete and they're ready to move on to selling more shit, you're a bold faced liar. Period. End of discussion. We don't lack imagination, we just lack the desire to kiss ass. The game is an unfinished mess. They've got no business selling more unfinished nonsense that skips the necessary steps to even make it engaging for that kind of money.
