Fat (Rant) Tuesday

I was telling a friend about how I'm finally in a healthy BMI, and she responds with "I wish I had more time to go to the gym". Like...thanks? She's gained at least 30 pounds, and blames her kid on why she's gained weight. I also have a 6 month old, work until 730pm 3 nights a week, I only see my fiancé 3 days out of the week with his weird swing shift schedule, which means I'm the only parent who sees our kid 4 days out of the week. I'm going running at 4 am because that's the only time I can exercise without the baby.

My friend on the other hand works until 4, comes home to her boyfriend and 1 year old, pops something in the microwave, and sits. I wish I had an extra pair of hands to help with chores, baby, or simply lets me do something by myself for 15 minutes. I've been able to lose all of the baby weight and 10 pounds with little time for myself, while she complains about lack and time and help. It's frustrating since I've told her it's about calories, not working out. It's pretty damn hard to outrun a bad diet.
