Except you're wrong. Just because you're used to it by now doesn't make it right. And just because they're up front about it doesn't make it right.

It's one thing when you're in the middle of a subscription. It's another when it's a trial period. If they had legitimate reason to believe that you want to use the product, I would be fine with it. But when you sign up, use it for 10 minutes and never use it again, then 3 months of charges is shady. It's a way of getting money for not providing a service. And it's 100% intentional. They take your CC info up front because they know it will happen sometimes. It's not because they're trying to be legit about it.
