Friend wants to learn league, any tips for how to teach him?

depends on his personality i guess. tbh im super competetive in all games (no ranked no fun for me), but when i started playing league i died so much (i blame my mates who were lvl 30 and made me suffer with matchmaking :D) and yet i had huge amounts of fun. back in season 3 i even thought cho is broken because of the way his skills looked... if you want him to be playing for a long time let him explore it and just enjoy the game. if you try to make him "decent" too fast he might lose interest considering we are at 145 champs.

if you want to teach him some stuff, just tell him some champs that are similar to ekko and have him experiment, while guiding him through important items and skills (then again building the biggest bullshit because something makes sense in your head is kinda funny too)
