I agree. This is moral hazard.
If one or two black kids get killed a week, the establishment has nothing to gain by fixing that.
If every city erupts in riots after the cops kill an innocent black kid, then the establishment has everything to gain by fixing it.
We have seen it time and time again, that if you let the people in power have the ability to fuck you in the ass they will do it and make you say thank you for it. These people, the rioters, will do more to fix the problem than if there are 10 years of peaceful protests.
The Occupy Wall St. protests were peaceful. Did they do anything? Not a damn thing. They got laughed at by a lot of people.
Now if the people rise up and start burning cities, this is going to change something. For the better or worse I don't know, but mobs depose kings.
It's not right and it's not fun but if being nice and protesting in caged in free speech zones made anyone give two fucks then shit would get done. This is what happens when shit that needs to get done, doesn't get done, and the corrupt motherfuckers who run the system let it get too far and it starts falling apart.
Today everyone can be reddit shocked but this is just society fraying a bit. You've all lived through a pretty solid society. But if anything, the financial crisis should have shown you that we are living on the edge of various disasters. Economic, geopolitical, class, corruption, and the major conflict between religions that is going on that we call terrorism.
It's all walking that fine line. It's always come back to stability, but it was just 100+ years ago when brother was killing brother to the tune of millions. It won't happen that exact same way again, but black swan events do happen.
The idiots in power think everything is going to be OK because yesterday was OK. Well, mountain climbers go with that same logic too but some days the mountains shake and everyone dies.
So I too think this is good, systemically. This is the wakeup call that will get people involved in this, saying we can't have cops do this shit NOT BECAUSE IT'S WRONG TO KILL BLACKS, but because PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BURN WHITE BUSINESSES AND WHITE CARS, AND THOSE THINGS MATTER. This will have the side effect of getting less blacks killed and that is what truly matters.
End justifies the means here. If a few cars and businesses have to get burned, so be it. Insurance. Go on gofundme.com and act like a racist and show the mean blacks who took all your shit and you will get 10,000 donators giving you tons of money and you will be a millionaire. Those guys will be fine.
The guy who stole a 6 pack of beer and a bag of chips, he was fucked before this and he's even more fucked after this when his beer runs out. Because he needs a beer and now there's no beer store.
But in the long term, people are going to say, do we need this to happen, we are scared of this happening, look at us, soccer moms and white grandmas worried about our little blonde children. Please government, won't you secure us from our fear and they will step in, impose a bit more loss of freedom to make these people feel secure and all will be well again.
