Gym Story Saturday

Schedule was a bit full yesterday. Went to the gym really late, in the afternoon. I'm currently trying out SL, first week. There are only 2 people in the weightroom, both in their 20s, non regulars, one of them is skinny with tats, the other one is huge, but not muscular, just fat. No PTs, no gym owner, just these two. I'm 15 years old, shy, so I don't even say hi, I just start my squat warmups. It's a small gym. No rack. I place the bar on the dip station, like always, and start adding plates. Mid-set, fat dude comes over, and tells me "kiddo, why you squating there?". It's a warmup set, I'm not going heavy, so I can talk while squating. I reply "well there is no rack here" and he tells me that I can squat just fine in the Smith Machine. I tell him I wanna try powerlifting, so I need to learn to squat without a smith machine. He shakes his head and moves away. Good. I finish all of my sets and move on to bench. I do a warmup and proceed to add more plates, for my working sets. Fat dude decides to spot me. I'm on my third rep, and he puts his filthy fingers on the bar, saying "Good, good, you got this". He is literally curling it right now, so on the fifth rep I try to rerack it in order to tell him to stop. But nope, as soon as I try to rerack the bar, he unracks it and says, "you got it, let's go for one more". I try again, but he just keeps unracking it. I'm getting annoyed, as it is my first set of 5 reps, but thanks to this dumbass I'm doing 12 reps already. I pretend that I'm getting tired and start grunting, until he reracks it. I tell him I'm trying to do a strength workout, but he doesn't listen. I don't want him spotting me again, but he tells me "okay, rest for a bit and then we can go for the second one". I don't want that though, so I tell him something in the lines of "you truly pushed me to my limits today, I can't even do my second set, thank you" and leave.

I hid in the locker room for 40 minutes, until the faggots left, and then came back and finished my workout, felt great, can't wait til Monday.
