so, this apartment I live in at the moment. It is an old commercial building, used to be a pharmacy. Anyway. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING lines up. the sink is in front of the toilet, however, it is about 3 inches to the left of center. The sink extends past the toilet alcove to about a half foot in front of the tub. And also, the sink is not centered on the top of it, nor is it centered on the cabinet it sits on. The cabinet also does not line up with the toilet or tub.
The kitchen. The cabinets above the sink do not end where the countertop ends, the extend about 4 inches longer. The stove top is 2 inches shorter than the countertop. The vent above the stove lines up with the upper cabinets, which as I said, extend past the counter, so the stove will not fit under the range evenly. if I line the stove up with the vent (which I do), there is a 4 inch gap between the stove and counter top. which every damn thing falls into.
in front of all the single windowed rooms (kitchen and bathroom) the heater/AC vent is directly in front of the windows, but off to the side a little bit. just like 3 or 4 inches. In the rest of the rooms that have double windows, the vent is in the center but off a bit, about 3 or 4 inches to the right of center. Also, the double window walls are not even, so technically the double windows have a larger gap on one side. This is for the dinning room, the bedroom and the living room. In the living room there is also a wall with one weird window that is up pretty high , it is not in the center of the wall , it is like 5 feet up and about 2/3rds towards the north. i dont know who the hell built this place. but NOTHING matches up. it drives me crazy.
I made this a while back when I was trying to re arrange my furniture. anyway. so this is a ruff layout of the place. its pretty damn big. the pink are vents, the green boxes are doors, yellow areas are closets. brown color outlines built in parts, (also the fridge is brown). blue indicates where windows are.
