Home Schooling

I know posts like this isn’t directed at people like me but I can’t help but speak up because there is much homeschool shaming here and in society in general.

When I was sixteen, I was already attending college, had a job, a boyfriend and was regularly doing road trips and stuff by myself and with other homeschool friends. I know this will make a lot of people mad but I fell out of touch with my friends who did go to school around this time because socially, I felt light years ahead of them. I was out having life experiences where most kids that age are stuck inside one building most of the day. Traditional schooling isn’t for everyone. The concept itself is great. I support public schools. Will most likely send my kids to school. I’m glad it’s here, but just to reiterate, it’s not for everyone.
