Isn't it a crime for your attorney to not fully have your side? It'd be one thing for a private attorney to have a blasé attitude. You could fire that attorney easier. But, a public defender?! So if your public defender is neutral in a murder trial, what do you do? Understand jurisprudence well enough to make a rational plea, (right in front of your public defender mind you) for new council?
I had a court appointed attorney. Bitch recommended I take a "timely pass for plea" in a court that didn't accept plea deals. I took her advice. I basically plead guilty to a state jail felony the DA had not even close to enough evidence to convict. Off a criminal mischief charge the DA claimed to have dismissed. Turned out, the DA separated the criminal mischief into 3. Dismissed one to get me to plea to a misdemeanor. Waited until 4 months before statute, rolled 2 together with zero receipt evidence and tricked me into pleading guilty without my knowledge that they did not have enough evidence.
The judge luckily thought I looked like a good enough kid to give me differed adjudication felony probation for 4.5 years. The same judge dismissed the DA's attempt at an Aggravated Assault case seeking 2-20 in prison.
Had an attorney just like that. Motherfuck pieces of shit like that. Go be a real attorney instead of a tax dollar mooch. There's other places you could wait to run for DA or judge. Like, an actually successful practice where you have to actually have your clients interests at heart.
This dudes attitude should be enough to be disbarred in my opinion. That is the legal council of the poorest and most vulnerable of our society. And while they pretend to be humble servants, it's more like shit tier attorneys too lazy to actually take cases that require skill, so they take 678)3738474648 case load jobs where they basically do less than a paralegal in terms of taking care or giving a fuck about clients.
"Not my job to fix the system" they cry as people are being shipped off to prison with little more than 10 minutes of their PD's time.
Oh, I know their racket. Motherfuckers are real buddy buddy with judges and DAs. You know. The people trying to lock you up. But, on trial day they'll have to fumble papers to remember their clients name or what the case is even concerning.
And they're the exact snakes that end up as DA or judge.
