How do you conquer the boredom of cardio?

A few people seem to be missing the part about recovering from surgery. I assume anything HIIT or otherwise vigorous is not applicable to you.

As someone else who despises cardio (but still does it 3x a week) my recommendation is like a few others said, music, podcasts, tv shows. More specifically, things you don't have to pay much attention to. I noticed trying to watch soccer or baseball required too much attention and kept my mind more active and I was much more aware of the time passing (or lack there of).

Podcasts of all varieties are pretty good, only requires listening. Likewise, I ran through almost the entire Netflix standup comedy library, great to listen to, normally hour long specials, and most don't require watching or paying a lot of attention to. Another idea (pretty cheesy, but something I did nonetheless) is youtube motivational speech compilations. There are a ton of them and most don't have the video content anyways, just some powerful words, which although cliché, can be motivating and help you push through.
