Because I see the UN as a toothless joke. If the UN actually had power? Sure. As it is, it's largely just a waste of money. Maintaining relations is good, but you don't need the UN for that.

For the most part? They love it. Welcome to the reality of an all-volunteer military. Only a "certain type" is attracted to military service and that type is NOT pacifist. These are people who openly use the word "Scumocrats" to refer to "that other party." 'Cause that's who the military is: Republicans.
