I'm confused about my religion.

I was raised to be a Christian believer, and I was too curious to stay. I wanted to learn about everything, and soon realized the religion's contents doesn't match reality. What I've since found is that nature and reality, again and again, proves to be far more intelligent, far more beautiful and fantastic, and sadly far more gruesome, than anything humans can describe or invent, including religion. Inventing maths and physics has done more for the world than anything else, allowing us to speak the language of nature, and utilize it to the betterment of humanity (unfortunately also for weapons though). I fully believe in the goodness of humanity, and that most humans want good things for others.
